The Application Administrator is responsible to provide technical support to the operational applications and departments within the Suez- North America Group. Responsible for solving real world technical problems, troubleshooting, monitoring and training clients/customers. This includes assisting in maintaining systems, quality documentation, quoting information, new product introduction, government compliance material, etc. This role requires working between multiple functional areas to ensure simple solutions are set forth to manage complex amounts of data. A successful candidate in this role will possess strong time management skills, be detail oriented and effective at working cross functionally.
Maintain employee access levels to balance security, data integrity and business needs
Provide support, on occasions onsite, as issues arise for asset management (EAM), customer information(CIS) and smart metering systems (SMS).
Create and maintain reports, grids, KPIs and charts
Update and configure and work with vendors that support and provide EAM, CIS and SMS environments to meet changing business requests
Provide creative solutions to complex issues
Stay up to date on new and upgraded of products to ensure that the organization is maximizing the system capabilities
Manage and leverage outside resources to ensure on time completion of projects
Provide leadership and support for all integration efforts
Act as liaison between field, plant and technical personnel
Interpret, explain and discuss complex concepts to people with varying levels of technical knowledge
Promote usage and expansion of system within the organization
Develop, maintain and leverage relationships within and outside the company to achieve organizational goals
Develop/Implement system design per technical documentation
Assure technical solution functionality through testing and updates to the technical solution as necessary
Interaction with clients via telephone or email with on-site visits as needed
Candidate must be able to work independently on complex configurations
Excellent time and data management, communication and interpersonal skills are required

Solid understanding and knowledge of enterprise databases

/Work Experience Needed/*
5+ years of experience in a dynamic and diverse information analysis environment.
5+ years of experience implementing and configuring business applications.
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 tools.
Understanding, aptitude for working with, and knowledge of enterprise relational databases (SQL Server or Oracle).
Knowledge of business intelligence/report development tools such as Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services, Cognos and/or PowerBI.

Exposure to engineering-related concepts and functions (i.e., technical experience in GIS support of water distribution or wastewater collection systems).
Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS suite of applications and knowledge of ArcGIS Server.
Familiarity with other EAM applications (such as Infor, Cityworks, Cartegraph, Maximo, etc.).
Familiarity with CIS and SMS applications
Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Physical, Earth, Life Science, Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited university; or equivalent job-related work experience.
ITIL Certification preferred but not required
